Rug Education: Classes at Azari
Azari Rug Gallery was happy to introduce our first class on the art of hand knotted rugs to our
wonderful clients. This class covered several aspects of rug making, including the history of
rugs, origins of rugs and their designs, different kinds of weaves and knots, natural dyes, as well
as what to look for in authentic hand knotted pieces.

These classes will be a new addition to the many services we provide to the Denver community.
Our hope is for these classes to educate and invigorate rug enthusiasts on the dedication and craft
that goes into each hand knotted piece, while creating a curated and polished environment for our
clients to enjoy. Previously we offered these classes to interior design students, but we are now
opening them up for our clients to experience as well!
